OBITUARY: Risner, Laughton From: Norma Adams    Date: March 27, 2004 March 25, 2004 Journal News, Hamilton, Ohio Laughton Risner Laughton Risner, age 75, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004, in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born in Wolf County, Kentucky, on December 10, 1928 the son of Lawton and Rosa (Reed) Risner. On July 17, 1948, in Covington, Kentucky, he married Sally Turner. Mr. Laughton had worked as a lift truck operator for Fisher Body Hamilton Plant, for thirty-two years, retiring in 1982. Survivors include his wife, Sally of Fairfield; a son, Lonnie and wife Nancy Risner of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Krista Risner of Terre Haute, Indiana, and Nathan Risner of Hamilton; a great grandchild, Madison Risner; two brothers, Arnold Risner of Dayton, Ohio, and Jimmie and wife Priscilla Nickell of Fairfield; a niece, Debbie Sloan of Hamilton; a nephew, Gary Nickell of Fairfield; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in -law. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister; a brother, Henry Nickell; and his mother-in-law, Alice Turner. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Reverend⤁s Barry Burns and Randy Moore officiating, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
