Lawrence M. ''Booney'' TRENT, age 76, of Franklin, OH died Wednesday, 
April 26, 2006 at Kettering Hospital. Lawrence was born in Hazel Green, 
KY on February 12, 1930 to Walter and Sally (Jack) Centers Trent. He 
was employed by Armco Steel for 41 years in the power department and 
retired 1989, served in the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army Artillery, an 
avid hunter, fisherman, member of the Armco trap shooting team winning 
state and national awards, and was known for his gunsmith ability 
perfecting a double release trigger, gun stocks and designs, and was a first 
class finish carpenter, he enjoyed all types of motor sports and blue 
grass music. He was a devoted husband and father to Maguerite "Marge" 
Dreher Trent; children, Jay Trent (Sheree) of Middletown, Gary Trent 
(Donna) of Waynesville; granddaughter, Melissa Trent (Jay Brenner) of 
Centerville; brother, Walter Gene Trent (Nila) of Hazel Green, KY; nieces, 
Kathy, Judy, Drema; nephew, Rick; great niece, Cherish; great neph!
 ew, Jackson; special friends, Lawrence Judge and B.M. Taulbee. He will 
be sadly missed but never forgotten resting in the arms of Jesus. 
Funeral services are Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 2pm at Anderson Funeral 
Home, 1357 E. 2nd St. Franklin, OH with Rev Bruce Powell officiating. 
Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation 
will be Saturday 12 Noon until time of the service. Memorial 
contributions can be made to the Diabetes Foundation or the Hope House.
