He was the owner and operator of Shackelford Funeral Home for 40 years, owner and operator of the Shackelford Monument and Farm Equipment, was a graduate of Lee College, graduate of KY School of Embalming, was President of Evans Cemetery, member of the KY Funeral Director's Association, served as Coroner in Wolfe County and was a volunteer fireman md. 1st, Joan md. 2nd, Jeannie KINCAID 2 brothers, Nevyle (Gladys) SHACKELFORD, Beattyville, KY, Ernest SHACKELFORD, Rochester, MI; 1 sister, Hazel CLARK, Mt. Sterling, KY: 1 step daughter, Donna (Darrell) ROGERS of Stanton, KY 3 step granddaughters, Cassey, Tamara and Chelsie ROGERS 1 dec?d son, Jon Mark SHACKELFORD Burial in the Evans Cem.
