OBITUARY: Sallee, Ila (Ratliff) From: vivianmoon@juno.com    Date:March 10, 2004 March 9, 2004 Middletown Journal, Middlerown, Ohio Ila Sallee Mrs. Ila Sallee, 85, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 8, 2004, at 5:45 a.m. at Willow Knoll Retirement Community where she had resided for two weeks. She was born Nov. 2, 1918, in Trent, [Wolfe County], Ky., and lived in Middletown since 1940. She was employed at Aker¹s Packaging for 25 years retiring in 1978. She was preceded in death by her parents, Courtney and Carrie (Meeks) Ratliff; and her husband, Stanley Sallee in 1979. She is survived by two sons, Oakie L. Sallee, and wife, Marilyn, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Darrell K. Sallee, and wife, Suzanne, of Lake Charles, La.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ruth Montgomery of Middletown, Mabel Howard of Orlando, Fla., Irene Gill of Frenchburg, Ky., and Willa Mae Morrison of Frenchburg, Ky. ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be Tuesday, March 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joseph S. Rhodes officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park in Trenton, Ohio.
