OBITUARY ON ERNEST FAULKNER FROM THE MIDDLETOWN JOURNAL 3/23/08

Gladys Patrick Adams Nichols Pasley, Age 92, of Trenton, OH, passed away 
March 22, 2008 at Garden Manor Extended Care Center where she had been a 
patient for 4 days. She was born July 15, 1915 in Wolfe County, KY, and 
had lived in Middletown since she was 13 years of age. As a young woman, 
with her two sisters, she was employed at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati 
for several years. After marrying, she became a homemaker. She was a 
member of the Community Church on Route 4. She enjoyed traveling with her 
late husband Omar. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn and 
Volla (Rose) Patrick; her first husband, Gerald Adams in 1955; second 
husband, Nick Nichols in 1968; third husband, Omar Pasley in 1989; three 
sisters, Mildred Adams, Thelma Knuckles and Louise Rose; and one brother, 
Kenneth Patrick. She is survived by one sister, Vivian Shartzer of Middletown, 
OH; three brothers, John (Rita) Patrick of Franklin, OH, Vaughn (Bea) Patrick 
of Hamilton, OH, Joseph (Joyce) Patrick of Trenton, OH; and many nieces, nephews, 
great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be March 24, 2008 from 6 to 
8 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Funeral 
services will be March 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor 
Steve Cable officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, 
Trenton, OH. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
