JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON ERNEST FAULKNER FROM THE MIDDLETOWN (OH) JOURNAL 3/11/08 Freddie South, Age 73, passed away February 29, 2008 at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center, Ft. Walton, FL. He was born February 11, 1935 to Price and Ida (Hatton) South in Hollinsville, KY. He served in the National Guard, attended both Yankee Road Church of God and Poasttown Church of God and worked as a pipe fitter for AK Steel and retired in May of 1991. Freddie was very proud of his country and was known to be very charitable. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Darrell South and sister, Roberta. Freddie is survived by four children, Terry South, Penny South, Shelly (Jimmy) Taulbee and Holly (Stephen) McCarroll; 11 grandchildren, Ronnie, Terry, Becky, Taylor, Karen, Shawntele, Brandi, Nicholas, Samantha, Stephen and Logan; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Dallas and Jerry; sisters, Justine, Janet, Alberta, Beth, April and Marilyn. Visitation will be held March 6, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life services will ! be March 7, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
