Floyd Halsey News Death Notice HALSEY, Floyd R. Age 92, of DeLand, Florida died March 11, 2005. He will be remembered for being the owner of Halsey Mens Shop of Middletown. Survived by wife, Anne Halsey. From the Daytona Beach News-Journal - March 12, 2005 AUG. 30, 1912 -- MARCH 11, 2005 DELAND -- Floyd R. Halsey, 92, of Lake Forest Drive, who owned a men's clothing store in Middletown, Ohio, before his retirement, died Friday at Ridgecrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Halsey, a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, was born in Comargo, Ky., and moved here from Middletown. He was a member of the Shriners of Middletown and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Anne; a daughter, Rita Arthur, DeLand; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Carpenter-Curry is in charge. Norma Adams: Floyd was the son of Floyd Ballard Halsey And Blanche Newell Williams Halsey.
