Obituary: Allen, Freda Curtis, died - Saturday, June 17, 2006 The Middletown Journal on 6/23/2006 Submitted by: "Norma Adams" ********************************************************************* ALLEN, Freda Curtis Passed peacefully June 17, 2006. She was devoted to her family and leaves them to cherish her memory. She was a loving mother to her 2 daughters, Jo Pergram of Franklin, Ohio and Terry Irmis of Tampa, Florida. She was blessed with 3 grandsons and 3 great grandchildren. They are: Doug Pergram, his wife Tangi and daughter Courtney of Springfield, Ohio, Kent Pergram, his wife Kathy, their children Alex and Averie of Union, Kentucky, and Sam Irmis, his wife Laura of St. Petersburg, Florida. Freda worked for the Middletown School System in the cafeteria for many years. She brought joy to life with her creativity and imagination especially in the field of art. She was an avid gardener with a showcase yard. Her pets brought her comfort each day. Preceding her in death was her first husband, Frank Curtis and second husband Austin Allen. Visitation will be Monday, June 26, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, Ohio. Services will follow at 12:00 noon with Reverend Greg Wallace officiating. Interment will be at Springboro Cemetery. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S.
