Elmer Turner

Elmer Turner, 85, of Westland MI formerly of Jackson KY, passed away 
Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital in Garden 
City MI.

Elmer was a steelpant worker and a member of the Buckhorn Primitive 
Baptist Church and a 50 year member of the Breathitt Masonic Lodge.

The son of the late Jerry and Ada Lyons Turner. Elmer's birth in 1918 
was in Warcreek KY. Elmer was preceeded in death by his sister Garnett 
and brothers James and Edward.

Survivors include his wife Mary Jane Turner of Westland; daughter 
Lois Jean Megges of Westland; son Charles Turner , Winchester KY. 
Three brothers Felix Turner of FL; Marvin Turner of TN; Gobel 
Turner of Walled Lake MI and one sister Minnie Stidham of South 
Lyon MI. Also survuvng are four grandchildren and nine great 
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 19, 2003 at the 
Breathitt Funeral Home Chapel. The REV Vaughn Rasor officiating. 
Burial followed in the Evans Crossing Cemetary, Campton KY.
