Mrs. Lewis was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky March 26, 1917 in a log cabin. She and her husband came to Ohio in 1935. Mrs. Lewis attended Poasttown First Church of God and was a member of the Missionary Ladies at the Grand Avenue Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lewis; parents, William and Zerilda Hanks; granddaughter, Cynthia K. Lewis; sisters, Carrie Duff, Mary Pelfrey, Hazel Million and Fannie Jones; brothers, Burl Hanks and Joseph Hanks. Mrs. Lewis is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Bill) Burger of Middletown, OH; sons, Larry (Janet) Lewis of Middletown, OH and David (Kathy) Lewis of Gratis, OH; brother, Stanley (Nancy) Hanks of St. Joseph, WI; grandchildren, Kelli (Randy) Oney, Jeffrey Mathis, Scott (Misty) Lewis, Kristi (Steve) Tatro, Michael (Ann) Lewis, Steve (Julita) Lewis and Monica Gabbard; great grandchildren, Makayla Oney, Makenzie One! y, Makaitlyn Oney, Ashley Mathis, Zack Mathis, Kelsie Tatro, Samantha Tatro, Zachary Lewis, Andrea Lewis and Mathew Lewis. Visitation will be at the Baker-Stevens Funeral Home, Middletown, OH on Thursday, July 6, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Services will be held at the Poasttown First Church of God on Friday, July 7, 2006 at 11:00 am with Rev. Randy Wallace officiating.
