OBITUARY: Harp, Daisy Edith, November 14, 2003, Middletown Journal, Middletown, Ohio From: vivianmoon@juno.com Date: November 14, 2003 Daisy Edith Harp Mrs. Daisy Edith Harp, 80, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at the home of her daughter. She was born on July 25, 1923, in Wolfe County, Ky., the daughter of Dave and Grace (Taulbee) Dalton. Preceding her in death were her parents, and her husband, Clyde Harp, who passed away in 1988. Daisy and Clyde were married on June 29, 1950, and were married for 38 years. A sister, Ruth C. Raney, also passed away in November 2003. Daisy is survived by a daughter, Robyn Keller of Middletown; and two sons, Will Halsey, and his wife, Betty, of Middletown, and Russell Halsey, and his wife, Gail, of Clarksville, Ohio. Also surviving are three sisters, Margie Kash of Middletown, Lottie Kash of Kentucky and Arneda Kelhoffer of Carlisle, Ohio; two brothers, Oliver Dalton and John Dalton, both of Kentucky; and 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She also leaves nieces, nephews and close friends, of which there are many ⤲and two loving neighbors, Hans and Sylvia Lenski, whom she loved very much. Mrs. Harp was a member of The Community Church in Liberty Township. ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 16, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home in Middletown. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Clifford Jack Lawson officiating.
