Mr. Rose was born in Rose Fork, Kentucky on December 29, 1928 to Henry & Elizabeth (Lewis) Rose. He retired from Carpenter's Local #104 after over 30 years of service and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Hazelgreen, KY. Preceded in death by 3 sisters & 3 brothers. Survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Letha (Clair) Rose; 3 daughters & son-in-law, Carmela Lois Grimes (Anthony), Loretta Sue Rose (fiance' Michael Kyer), Marilyn Ann Rose; 2 sons & daughters- in-law, Lowell Raymond Rose (Debra), Carl Wayne Rose (Deborah); grandchildren, Jessica, Stephanie, Andrea, Christopher, Allison, Carl, Christopher, Clair & Blake; great granddaughter, Taylor; sisters, Berneice Lockhart & Mae Palmer; brothers, Linvile & Frank Rose; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Funeral service 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at the GEOGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "North Dayton Chapel", 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Carl's family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Tuesday (12:30-1:30 p.m.) at the funeral home.
