OBITUARY: Nickell, Clifford - Friday, December 22, 2006 The Western Star - December 28, 1988 Submitted by: WGNickell@aol.com ********************************************************************* Obiuaries -- Nickell, Clifford, age 82, of Lebanon since 1941, passed away Friday, December 22, 2006 at his home. Born in West Liberty, KY on November 27,1924 to Elbert T. & Bessie (nee: Blevins) Nickell, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Before retiring in 1997, Mr. Nickell worked for several area auto dealers during his 40+ year career and owned & operated Cliff Nickell Motors for many years. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church, a former member of Lebanon Elks and enjoyed gardening & music. Preceded in death by his parents, first wife Bridget, son, Stephens, and seven brother & sisters, surviviors include his beloved wife of 43 years, Bonnie (nee: Jenkins) Nickell, three sons & daughter-in-law, Scot & Julie Nickell, Billy & Michelle Nickell and Tommy & Angie Nickell, all of Lebanon, two daughters & son-in-laws, Pamela & Gary Allen of Lebanon and Gwendolyn & Kenny Chappell of Morrow, fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also, surviving are one brother, Arlie Nickell of West Liberty, and one sister, Martha Barker of Lebanon. Visitation Tuesday, December 26th, 6-8:00 P.M. at the Lebanon Funeral service Wednesday, Decembeer 27th, 10:00 A.M., at the Northside Baptist Church, interment followed in Lebanon Cemetery with military honors provided by Lebanon V.F.W.
