JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON ERNEST FAULKNER FROM THE DAYTON (OH) DAILY NEWS 3/16/08 Christine Anderson Hill was born on February 15, 1916 in Hazel Green, Wolfe County, KY. Christine died at the Brethren retirement Community in Greenville, OH on March 13, 2008. Christine was daughter to Noah and Nora Williams Anderson, granddaughter to Henry and Lou Ann Hensley Williams, and sister to Jewell Anderson Garrett. Christine is survived by her adult children and half/step siblings, who live in OH, IL, and KY. Extended family and friends live in OH, IL, and KY. Christine grew up in Hunting Creek, now Bays, KY, Breathitt County. Christine went to school in a one-room schoolhouse, Miller's School. Christine loved school. While at Miller's School she was in a school play entitled, "Coming to an Understanding". Christine came to Ohio as a teenager. She valued education and believed that with education a better life could be obtained. She wanted education for her children. Christine came to work at the University of Dayton 1966-1981 in the Marycrest cafeteria. Christine enjoyed and respected the students and the professors she encountered. Christine enjoyed rich friendships during her lifetime and she spoke of her friends often. She loved to talk and could talk for hours with her friends. Her happiness was to have visits with friends and family. Christine will be missed by friends and family. Donations to the Hospice of Dayton would be appreciated for those who are inclined.
