OBITUARY: Pombles, Beatrice, October 4, 2003 Saturday Middletown Joournal From: vivianmoon@juno.com Date: October 4, 2003 Beatrice Pombles Beatrice Pombles, 66, has gone home to be with Jesus. She passed away at 2:24 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at Sycamore Glen Health Center in Miamisburg. Beatice was born Nov. 12, 1936, in Wolfe County, Ky., the daughter of Cora (Haddix) and Merida Brewer. She retired from Meijer where she had worked for 10 years. She was a member of the Christian Enterprise Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 1986 and her father in 1988. She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie (Gene) James of Middletown; three grandchildren, Ashley, Jesse and Frankie; her mother, Cora Brewer of Middletown; three sisters, Betty (Roy) Banks of Franklin, Barbara Wilson of Monroe and Brenda Brewer of Middletown; one brother, Bernie (Gerry) Brewer of Centerville; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, at the Baker-Stevens Funeral Home with Pastor James R. Anderson officiating. Burial will be at the North Monroe Cemetery.
