Bessie Holland

HOLLAND, Bessie Age 85, formerly of Franklin, Ohio, passed away 
Saturday, February 28, 2004 at Kettering Hospital in Kettering, Ohio. She was 
born on September 12,1918 in Campton, [Wolfe County], Kentucky, the 
daughter of Goffery and Maude (Halsey) Brewer. Mrs. Holland was formerly 
employed at Franklin City Schools as a teacher before retiring in 1978 
after 33 years and she was a lifetime member of OEA. She also was a 
member of the Freewill Baptist Church since 1971. Preceding her in death 
are her parents; her husband of 57 years, Reed Holland; a daughter, 
Phyllis Goad, a brother Bill Brewer and a grandson Anthony Richard Drumm. 
Bessie is survived by her two sons; Edward (Donna) Holland of Wilmington 
and Garrison (Jennifer) Holland of Xenia; a daughter, Jodi Holland 
Clark of Houston, TX ; one sister Connie Sewell of Ansonia, OH; Son-in-law, 
Walter Goad; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services 
will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home (SPRIN!
 GBORO) 40 N. Main St. Springboro. With Pastor Dencil Owsley 
officiating. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 
Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be made to
