Submitted December 2003 by Pat (Akers) Lacy eplacy@worldnet.att.net� ************************************************ Services for Anna Pearl (Clark) Lacy were held Saturday, March 30, 1991, at 2:00 P.M., at the Porter and Son Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Fred Nippert officiating. Burial was in the Hazel Green Cemetery, Hazel Green, Kentucky. Porter and Son Funeral Directors, Campton, were in charge of funeral arrangements. Mrs. Lacy was survived by a son, William Earl Lacy, Sr., Georgetown, KY; three grandchildren: William Earl Lacy, Jr., Ocala, Florida, Katherine Ann (Lacy) Nippert, Indiana, and John Andrew Lacy, Georgetown; five great-grandchildren: Robert Douglas Lacy, Ocala, Florida, Karen Lynn Nippert, Timothy David Nippert and Susan Marie Nippert, all of Indiana, and Preston Scott Lacy, of Georgetown. Pearl was the daughter of the late J.R."Rollie" Clark and Emma Jane (Cox) Clark of Wolfe County; and the granddaughter of the late George Washington Cox and Martha "Mattie" Jane (Hanks) Cox, Wolfe County, and also the late William Clark and Celia Ann (Sample) Clark, also of Wolfe County. Her brothers were Elmer and Raymond Clark, and her sisters were Ethel (Clark) Crain and Lucille Clark. Pearl was married to Andrew Courtney Lacy of Wolfe County on March 22, 1919 in Hazel Green, and they resided on Lacy Creek at one time. Pearl and Courtney were divorced in September 1953. Mrs. Lacy was retired from the Hazel Green Academy where she worked for several years. Before moving to Georgetown, she resided in Mt.
