Adah Jane Wood-Tyra,93 Of Cross Plains IN passed away Saturday, 
September 2, 2006 at the Major Hospital in Shelbyville IN. She was born 
in Wolfe County, Kentucky on December 18,1912 the daughter of Alford and 
Martha Napier-Wood. She Married Aurthur Tyra on March 1, 1932 and he 
preceded her in death on June 30. 1976. Survivors include two daughters 
Oneda Anderson and heh husband Murrell of Waldron, IN and Martha Davies 
and her husband William of Scipio; 5 grand children and 14 great-grandchildren, 
one brother Everett Wood and his wife Myrle of Cross Plains, IN, Nana Mae 
Whisman of Naples, FL, Virgina Liter of Canaan, IN and Irene Scudder and 
her husbanf Millard of Dillsboro, IN. She was preceded in death by her 
parents, brothers Alfrod, and James Wood, and sisters Daisy Tyra, Betty 
Wood, and Leona Whisman.  Services at Bear Creek Baptist Church, Friendship 
IN.  Interment wil be at Cross Plains Methodist Cemetery
