WILLIE PATTON OF VORTEX DIES        
 
Willie Patton, 66, husband of Nannie Frances Hounshell Patton of
Campton, died at the University Hospital at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22,
of a heart attack.  He was a native of Wolfe County and a farmer in the
Vortex Community for over 50 years.
 
Other survivors besides his wife include four daughters, Mrs. Sucille?
Profitt, Campton, Mrs. Betty Johnson of Lexington, Mrs. Esther Hughes
and Mrs. Dorothy Pence, both of Dayton, Ohio; one brother, Darley
Patton, Kenosha, Wisconsin; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Truss, Kenosha,
Wisconsin, and eight grandchildren.
 
Burial in the Sugar Orchard Cemetery with the Porter and Son Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements.
