Howard Halsey, 93, of Campton d. May 15, at his residence.
 
A native of Wolfe County, he was a s/o the late Joseph and Emma Drake
Halsey.  He was a retired Wolfe County school teacher and a former
employee of General Motors and Frigidaire Corp of Dayton, Ohio.  He was
a member of Cox Lodge R & AM, of Campton and a member of the Rosedale
Church.
 
Surviving are a son, Edwin Emerson Halsey of Louisville, four daughters,
Alma Groin of Warren, Ore., Aleen Palmer of Louisville, Dorothy
Harasimik of Campton and Emogene Sells of Elizabethtown; seven
grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
 
Mr. Halsey was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Johnson Halsey in
1948.
 
Burial in the Murphy Cemetery at Stillwater under the direction of
Porter and Son Funeral Home in Campton.
