Wolfe County news - March 11, 1953

LELIA E. HORTON DIES IN WOLFE

Campton, Ky - Mrs. Lelia Evans Horton, 88, widow of the late Alfred 
Horton died at five o'clock on Thursday morning, March 5th at the home of 
her daughter in Campton.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Alpha Galbreath with whom she made 
her home, and two sons, John F. Horton, South Lyons, Mich; Buford G. 
Horton, Kernosha, Wis, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the residence and burial in 
the Evans Cemetery here.
