DEWEY ROSE DIES TUES.
 
Dewey Rose, 79, died Tuesday, May 30 at his home in Hazel Green after
suffering a heart attack.  He was a native of Wolfe County, a farmer 
and former State Highway Department foreman, he was the husband of Anna
Center Rose.
 
Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 1 at
Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willie Taylor officiating.
Burial was in the Evans Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in 
charge of arrangements.
