WILLIE DRAKE DIES APRIL 3 AT W. LIBERTY
 
Willie Drake, 86, died Monday April 3 at the Morgan County Appalachian
Regional Hospital, West Liberty, after a four months illness.  He was a
retired farmer, native of Wolfe County and a member of the Church of
God.
 
Survivors are five daughters, Mattie Drake of Campton, Ruth Mackey of
Dayton, Ohio, Edith Hamlin of West Alexandria, Ohio, Cindy Poore of
Waynesville, Ohio and Thelma Allen of Campton; one brother, Dudley 
Drake
of Sandy Ridge; six sisters, Mrs. Josie Crisman and Mrs. Doll Abner 
both
of Vada, Mrs. Pearl Dunnaway of Primrose, Mrs. Cindy Feltner of Hazard,
Mrs. Sally Abner of Winchester and Mrs. Letha Creech of Bowersville,
Mich.  Twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at the
Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Thomas officiating.
Burial was in the Horton-Drake Cemetery on Sandy Ridge with Shackelford
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
