Obituary: Turner, Mack - Friday, December 30, 1978 Wolfe County News - Jan. 13, 1978 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** DEATH CLAIMS MACK TURNER Mack Turner, 78, of Route 1 Campton, a retired carpenter, died Friday, Dec. 30, at his home of an apparent heart attack. He was a son of the late Ned and Mary Ellen Combs Turner, a native of Breathitt County, and attended the Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Wendell Turner of Route 2 Campton and Bill Turner, Route 1 Campton; three daughters, Mrs. Golden Cole and Mrs. Lalie Cole both of Michigan, and Mrs. Ellen Ray of Findley, Ohio; one brother, Taylor Turner, of Michigan and a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were held a 1:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, at the Trent Community Church with Rev. Kenneth Brewer officiating. Burial in the Stamper-McNabb Cemetery on Chapel Branch, near Hazel Green.
