Obituary: Puckett, Evalee Banks - Tuesday, October 3, 1978 Wolfe County News - Oct. 1978 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** DEATH CLAIMS EVALEE PUCKETT Evalee Puckett, 67, of Dayton, Ohio and formerly of Hazel Green, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 3, at the Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She was the widow of Robert Puckett. She was the daughter of the late James Monroe and Cora Tester Banks, a native of Wolfe County, and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors are four sons, Albert Banks of Centerville, Ohio, Willard and Fred Puckett, both of Dayton, Ohio, and Denzil Puckett of Xenia, Ohio, nine daughters, Hazel Napier of Hazard, Dovie Dunn of Winamac, Indiana, Darlene Mason, Odetta Ashburn, and Virginia Densmoor, all of Dayton, Ohio, Miss Janet Puckett, also of Dayton, Ohio, Sharon Rothmann of Yorkhaven, Penna., and Miss Kathleen Puckett of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Darlie Banks of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Bonnie Spencer of Gilmore, Mae Kirby of Kalamazoo, Mich., Marie Riggas of Middletown, Ohio; 21 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5 at the Campton First Church of God with Rev. Bee May officiating.
