REBECCA SHORT DIES NOV. 26          
 
Rebecca Jane Profitt Short, 84, died Friday, Nov. 26 at the Appalachian
Regional Hospital, West Liberty.  She was the wife of James _. Short 
and a native of Wolfe County.
 
Survivors are six daughters, Gladys Bush of Dayton, KY. Madge Hampton,
Hazel Brewer and Gertrude Hampton all of Indianapolis, Ind., Geneva
Moore of Hamilton, Ohio and Mildred Creech of Campton; one son, Harry
Short of Campton; eleven grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Nov. 28 at the Campton Church of
God with Rev. Omer Spencer and Rev. Doyle Thomas officiating.  Burial
was in the Profitt Cemetery at Rogers with Shackelford Funeral home in
charge of arrangements.
