DENNISTON DIES MAY 28TH William V. Denniston, 63, of Campton died May 28 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington following a short illness. He was a farmer and sawmill operator and was a native of Menifee County. He is survived by his wife, Blanch Cox Denniston of Campton; six sons, Jacob and William V. Denniston, Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, and James, Charlie, Gary and William Denniston of Campton; five daughters, Mrs. Verneda Alexander of Trent, Ohio, Mrs. Freda Moore of Hamersville, Ohio, and Mrs. Jean Gullett, Mrs. Helen Hollon, and Mrs. Terri Denniston, all of Campton; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Dallas Denniston of Campton, Earl Denniston of Mt. Sterling and Herman Denniston of Pine Ridge, and four sisters, Mrs. Sally Shrout of Salt Lick, Mrs. Dorothy McIntosh of Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Charlene Newkirk of Corbin. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, at the Campton First Church of God by Rev. Omer Spencer.
