LEE NATIVE IS CLAIMED

Mary Whisman Shackelford, 82, died at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at the 
Adams Rest Home, Lexington.  She was a member of the First Methodist 
Church, Jackson, a native and life long resident of Lee City. (County?)

She is survived by one son, Tom Bernice Shackelford, Manhattan, Kansas; 
one brother, Ray Whisman, Campton; two grandchildren, other relatives 
and a host of friends.

Services were Conducted at the Fincastle Methodist Church at 2 p.m. 
Sunday, Jan. 19, with Rev. Marvin Wheeler officiating.  Burial was in the 
family cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home of Campton in charge of 
arrangements.
