Obituary: Hollon, Arkanis - Friday, January 29, 1965 Wolfe County News - Feb. 1965 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** ARKANIS HOLLON CLAIMED JAN. 29 Arkanis Hollon of Campton rural died at Clark County Hospital, Winchester, Friday, Jan. 29 at 4:30 p.m. He was 73. A retired farmer, he was a member of the First Church of God, Campton. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Flossie Horton Hollon, Campton rural; one son, Pryse Hollon, Campton; three brothers, Clayton Hollon, Michigan, Foley Hollon, and Wilson Hollon, both of Loveland, Ohio; five sisters, Mrs. Denvia Capozio and Mrs. Gladys Fronk, both of Loveland, Ohio. Mrs. Logan Hollon, Rt. 2, Beattyville, Mrs. Liza King, Bowen; and Edna who lives in Loveland. Also surviving are four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral service was conducted at the First Church of God, Campton, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31. Rev. Walter Strong officiated, assisted by the pastor, Rev. Ethan Duff. Burial was in Evans Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
