LEDFORD RITES HELD APRIL 4 AT SLADE CHURCH
 
Everett Ledford, a retired farmer, died at about 6:00 a.m. at his home
on Slade Hill, Powell County, April 3.  He was a veteran of World War I.
 
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lizzie Ledford, two sons, Everett Ledford,
Jr., and Gary Ledford, Slade, two daughters, Mrs. Louise White, South
Lebanon, Ohio and Mrs. Hazel Roberts, Cincinnati.
 
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of
God, Slade.  Rev. Wilbur Rose officiating.  Burial was in the Pine Ridge
Cemetery, Wolfe County.  Hearne Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.
