RAY TRENT DIES JULY 21
 
Ray Trent, 54, of Zachariah died Thursday, July 21 at the Appalachian
Regional Hospital in West Liberty.
 
Mr. Trent was a native of Wolfe County, a farmer, and a member of the
Baptist Church.  He was a son of the late James and Nannie Turner 
Trent.
 
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Johnson Trent; three sons, Jimmy
Trent, Jeffery Trent, and Gregory Trent, all of Zachariah; four
daughters, Sharron Flinchum, Nancy Young, both of Winchester, Charlene
Brewer of Zachariah, and Nellie Bellamy of Leeco; three brothers,
Raleigh Trent of Crystal, Ky., Calvin Trent and Sammy Trent both of
Zachariah; four sisters, Cindy Crawford of Irvine, Clara Flinchum of
Richmond, Mae Flinchum and Bulah Gentry, both of Zachariah; and four
grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, July 24 at 2 p.m. at Porter and
Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Forrest Drake officiating.  Burial in
the Trent Family Cemetery at Torrent with Porter and Son Funeral Home 
in charge of arrangements.
