BANKS DIES AT HOME Rosa Banks, 68, wife of Ova Banks, died suddenly at her home, Thursday, June 12, from a heart attack. She was the daughter of the late McKinnley and Liza Moore Maloney, and a native of Wolfe County. She is survived by her husband, Ova, five sons, William Banks of Rogers, Rondall Banks of Stanton, Hobert Banks of South Carolina, Vernon Banks of West Virginia, and Marcus Banks of Campton; four daughters, Mrs. Nell Banks of Campton, Orneda Hale of Middletown, Ohio, Mrs. Marie Banks of Trenton, Michigan and Mrs. Betty Fay Watkins of Bethany, two brothers, Leno Maloney of Lexington and Finch Maloney of Jackson; three sisters, Kits Landsaw, and Mrs. Clara Haddix, both of Middletown, Ohio and Mrs.Thresa Fordise of Lebanon, Ohio; 27 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 15, at the Porter and Son Funeral Chapel with Tom Byrd officiating.
