Obituary: Smith, Beulah Taulbee - Thursday, November 20, 1975 Wolfe County News - November 28, 1975 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** BEULAH SMITH PASSES NOV. 20 Mrs. Beulah Smith, 54, of Grassy Creek died Thursday, Nov. 20 at West Liberty after an extended illness. Mrs. Smith was born Sept. 9, 1921, at Grassy Creek, a daughter of the late Martin and Maggie Creech Taulbee. She was a member of the Grassy Lick Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, Elzie Smith of Grassy Creek; three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Taulbee of Montgomery County, Mrs. Margie Taulbee of Rt. 1 West Liberty, and Mrs. Callie McKinney of Georgetown, KY.; two sons, Arlie Smith of Grassy Creek and Herschell Smith of Georgetown; three sisters, Lula Smith of West Liberty, Ora Postman of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Rosa Gibson, also of Grand Rapids; one brother, Johnnie Taulbee of Paris, Ky., and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Nov. 23, at the Potter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clarence Watson officiating.
