Wolfe County News - June 24, 1964

CYNTHIA NICKELL OF INSKO PASSES

Cynthia Bell Nickell, 72 of Insko, died Friday, June 19 at 2:30 a.m. in 
the St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington.  She was born February 24, 1892 in 
Magoffin county, daughter of Sarah Crase Holbrooks and John Henry 
Holbrooks.  She was the widow of the late Jim Howard Nickell.

She is survived by the following children; Andy Campbell Nickell, 
Dayton, O., Henry Oakley Nickell, Raven, VA; Irene Vest, Georgetown, Ky., 
Berkley Nickell, Insko, Ova Nickell, Temperance, Mich., and Justine 
Ruark, Mt. Sterling, Ky.

Fuenral was conducted Sunday, June 21 at Potter Chapel with Revs. 
Forest Bailey and Ark Smith officating.  Burial was in the Nickell cemetery 
at Cannel City.  Potter Funeral Home made arrangements.
