WOLFE NATIVE DIES IN W. VA.            
 
Dorcie Spencer, 77, Kenova of W.Va., died Sat. June 25, in St. Mary's
Hospital in Huntington following an extended illness.
 
Mr. Spencer was born Oct. 4, 1905, in Wolfe County, KY., a son of the
late Elijah and Nancy Spencer.
 
He was a retired automobile mechanic and a World War II Army veteran.
 
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Mary Spencer of Kenova; and two brothers,
W.M. Spencer of Rockledge, Fla., and Albert Watson of Piketon, Ohio.
 
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rollins 
Funeral Home in Kenova by Rev. Edward Gilbert.  Burial in Hillcrest 
Cemetery.
