Obituary: Nickell, Willa Mae Nickell - Sunday, July 8, 1979 Wolfe County News - July 1979 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** MORGAN NATIVE, MAE NICKELL DIES IN OHIO Mrs. Willa Mae Nickell, 83, of Kettering, Ohio and formerly of Hazel Green, died Thursday, July 5, in New Carlisle, Ohio. Mrs. Nickell was born June 11, 1896 at Payton, Ky., a daughter of the late Andy Nickell and Adaline Patrick Nickell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy C. Nickell. Survivors are five sons, Edgar Nickell of New Carlisle, Ohio, Thurman Nickell of New Carlisle, Ohio, Robert Nickell of New Mexico, Eugene Nickell of Dayton, Ohio and Arnold Nickell of Kettering, Ohio; one brother, Ray Nickell of Springfield, Ohio. Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, July 8 at the Potter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Elmer Robinson and Rev. Henry Howard officiating.
