Obituary: Taulbee, Robert - Saturday, September 30, 2006 Lexington Herald-Leader - October 3, 2006 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** TAULBEE Robert, 83, died Sat, Sept. 30, 2006 at the Veterans Administration Hospital. Born in Campton, KY, he was a son of the late John and Lilly Taulbee. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, a WW II Army veteran, and a member of V.F.W. Post #680 and the American Legion. Survivors are three daughters, Bobbie Taulbee Smith, Norma Taulbee House and Nancy Taulbee (Danny) Ellis, all of Lexington; three sons, John Taulbee, Murfreesboro, TN, Billy (Teresa) Taulbee and Gary Stephen Taulbee, both of Lexington; a stepson, Donald (Sandy) Tomlinson, Lexington; grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew, Miranda, Hope, Guy, Kim, Ashley, Leslie, Ronnie, Susie, Little Joe and Mark; great-grandchildren, Logan, Landon, Lincoln, Akasha, Cameron, Summer and Isabella; and two sisters, Rachel Ethington, Lexington, and Gracie Fox, Huntsville, AL. Funeral services will be Wed, 12 p.m. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. by Brother Flynn Rodgers. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from Tue, 5-8 p.m. Contributions are suggested to the Lexington Humane Society, 1600 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington, KY 40504.
