Obituary: Lacy, Porter Edwin - January 15, 1985 Wolfe County News - Jan. 18, 1985 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** PORTER LACY OF CAMPTON DIES JAN. 15 Mr. Porter Edwin Lacy, 81 of Rt. 1 Campton died Jan. 15 at the Morgan County Appalachian Regional Hospital, West Liberty. Mr. Lacy was a native of Wolfe County, a member of the Campton First Church of God, a retired farmer and a son of the late Willie and Mary Elizabeth White Lacy. Survivors are his wife, Calah Lacy of Route 1 Campton, three sons, Tommy Lacy of Batesburg, South Carolina, Clyde Lacy of Meansville, Ga., and Herbert Lacy of Dunnellen, Fla., one daughter, Mary Ellen Hinton of Junction City, Ga.; one brother, Reece Lacy of Wixom, Michigan; four sisters, Eula Peck and Amelia Combs both of Campton, Laura King of Stanton and Madge Vogel of Indianapolis, Indiana; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
