Wolfe County News - March 20, 1966

WOLFE NATIVE DIES MARCH 24	

Glovery Beckham Holland, 62 died 12:15 a.m. Thursday at the Guerrant 
Clinic after a short illness.  He was a resident of Paris Road in Fayette 
County and a native of Wolfe County.

Survivors are his foster father, Steve Swango of Wolfe County; two 
daughters, Mrs. Jo Ann Ballard, Clark County, and Mrs. Katheleen Underwood 
of Nicholasville; three brothers, Stanley Holland, Lexington; Leslie 
Holland, Newport, and Albert Holland of Cincinnati: three sisters, Mrs. 
Ella Haley of Lexington, Mrs. Opel Fields, Corinth, and Mrs. Edna 
Ritchie of Dayton, Ohio, and five grandchildren.

Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Porter Funeral Home in 
Campton by Rev. Omer B. Spencer.  Burial was in the Rose Cemetery on 
Stillwater.
