Mr. Eugene Paul Davis, 58, Campton d. Tuesday, Jan. 21 of an apparent
heart attack at his home.
 
Mr. Davis was born in Perry County but had lived in Wolfe County most of
his life.  He was a member of the Sandfield Community Church, member of
Pieratt Masonic Lodge, Lee City, and an employee of the U.S. Postal
Service for 29 years.  He was the son of Ova and Maudie Burgett Davis.
 
Survivors are his wife, Ruby Brown Davis, one step-daughter, Patty
Lindon of Campton; two brothers, Chavis Davis of Campton  and Leo Davis
of Middletown, Ohio; three sisters, Berley May Hatton of Middletown, 
Ohio; Wanda Fay Bailey of Burkhart, Fleta Mae Bolin of Trenton, Ohio 
and one step-grandson, Charles Andrew Lindon.
 
Burial in the Brown Cemetery at Valeria with Porter and Son Funeral 
Home in charge of arrangements.
