RITES SAID FOR GEORGE SHELTON
 
George Harrison Shelton, 90 of Campton died Jan. 17 at the Hazard
Appalachian Regional Hospital.
 
A native of Clay County, he was a s/o the late Jim and Ellen Stapleton
Shelton.  He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of God.
 
Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by his wife, Cinda Shelton, in 1984.
 
Surviving are three sons, Kenneth and Chester Shelton of Campton and
Roslon Shelton of Kettering, Ohio; six daughters, Edith Brewer of
Campton, Sharon Friend of Penscola, Fla., Mae Taylor of Campton, Hazel
Sherriton of Middletown, Ohio, Sylvia Hounshell of Germantown, Ohio and
Dulcena Cox of Texas; four brothers, Raleigh Shelton and John Shelton 
ofEaton, Ohio, Jerry Shelton of Rockford, Ill; three sisters, Cleo 
Antiakaof Dayton, Ohio, Stella Brown of Eaton, Ohio, and Lou Rose of
Beattyville; 23 grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren.
 
Burial was in the family cemetery at High Falls under the direction of
Porter and Son Funeral Home of Campton.

 
Note; obit gave four brothers, but only three named.
