Whisman Adams, 77, beloved wife of Bob Adams of Zachariah, and daughter of the late Isaac and Catherine Hobbs Whisman, passed away Wed, Nov 22, at the St. Joseph Hospice in Lexington after a three month illness. She was a native of Lee County, a retired post master at Zachariah, a member of the Rogers Baptist Church and a loving mother and housewife. She is survived by her husband, Bob Adams, Zachariah; two daughters, Betty Louise Stewart of Louisville, KY, and Dulith Ann Johnson of Danville, KY; one brother, Elmer Whisman, Stanton, KY; one sister, Jewell Carroll, Winchester, KY; three grandchildren, Jami Springer, Mandy Blandford and Josh Roberts; and four great-grandchildren, Alex Springer and Hannah Springer, and Reagan Blandford and Lilly Blandford. Funeral services will be 1pm, Sat, Porter and Son Funeral Directors in Campton with Bro. Richard Adams and Bro. Barry Radeabaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Adams Cemetery at Zachariah.
