JAS. DALTON OF CAMPTON DIES AUG. 20
 
James David Dalton, 88 of Valeria Route, Campton d. Sat. Aug. 20 at the
Morgan County Appalachian Regional Hospital in West Liberty, following 
a long illness.
 
Mr. Dalton, son of the late Henry and Sarah Faulkner Dalton was a native
of Wolfe County, a retired farmer, a member of the Church of Christ, and
a veteran in World War I.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Gracie
Taulbee Dalton.
 
Survivors include two sons, Rev. Oliver Dalton of Pomeroyton, and John
Dalton of Campton; five daughters, Margie Kash,  Daisey Harp, and Arnita
Kelhoffer, all of Middletown, Ohio, Ruth Raney of Somerville, Ohio and
Lottie Kash of Campton, one sister, Lillie Gibbs of Hazel Green, 23
grandchildren, and a large number of great grandchildren and great great
grandchildren.  Burial in the Taulbee Whisman Cemetery at Landsaw with
Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
