Obituary: Moore, Sydna Allen - August 19, 1985 Wolfe County News - August 30, 1985 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Sydna Moore, of Middletown, Ohio went to be with her Lord Aug. 19, one week after having major surgery at the Middletown Hospital. She was born April 10, 1909, daughter of the late Newt and Sarah Allen. She was the widow of Robert Moore. She had been in poor health for many years and had undergone several major operations. She never seemed to fear them and said that if she lived or died she was with the Lord. She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart, read her Bible and prayed everyday. Her son, Dexter, took her to church in her wheelchair as long as she was able to attend. She was too weak and ill to recover from the last surgery. The Lord took her home where she will be free from all pain and suffering and will never need her wheelchair again. She is survived by her son, Dexter, her daughter, Wilma Walker, three grandsons and a granddaughter. Also surviving are two sisters, Hazel Creech and Maggie Moore and three brothers, Sheridan, Hendrix and Marvin Allen. Burial in the Woodside Cemetery beside her husband, Robert Moore.
