Daniel Herman Lewis, 73 of Pontiac, Michigan, formerly of Rogers, d.
Sept. 18, in Pontiac of a heart attack.
 
Mr. Lewis was a Wolfe County native, a member of the Church of God, a
retired carpenter, and also a retired foreman of General Motors bus and
truck division.
 
Survivors are his wife, Esther Spencer Lewis, one son, Edward Lewis of
Houston, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Patricia Burt of Drayton Plains, 
Michigan, Mrs. Brenda Todd of Ortonville, Michigan and Mrs. Pamela
Rowden of Pontiac, Michigan; five brothers, Otha Lewis of Rogers, Dallas
Lewis of Mt. Sterling, Roy Lewis, John Lewis and Leo Lewis, all of
Illinois; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Bryant of Rogers; seven
grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
 
Burial in the Spencer family cemetery at Rogers with Porter and Son
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
