RUTH T. COX PASSES APRIL 12 AT LEXINGTON
 
Ruth Tutt Cox, 81 died April 12 at the Central Baptist Hospital,
Lexington, following an extended illness.
 
Mrs. Cox was a daughter of the late Silas and Cora Rose Tutt.  She was 
a retired school teacher, a member of the Campton Baptist Church, a 
member of Eastern Star Eve Chapter 272, a charter member of the Wolfe County
Woman's Club and a member of the Baptist Women's Missionary Union.  Her
husband George Cox and one son, William Joe Cox, preceded her in death.
 
Survivors include two sons, Omer Cox of Pekin, Illinois, and Thomas Cox
of Campton; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson: 1 sister, Lena Harris of
Campton, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
 
Burial in the Evans Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
