GULLETT DIES DEC. 24 Mrs. Bess Hollon Gullett, 95, Route 1, Hazel Green died Monday, Dec. 24 at the Morgan County Appalachian Regional Hospital, West Liberty. Mrs. Gullett was born December 2, 1880, at Helechawa in Wolfe County, a daughter of the late John D. Hollon and Gillia Anne Wilson. She was a retired school teacher and was preceded in death by her husband, C.P. Gullett on April 9, 1980. She was the oldest member of the Hazel Green Christian Church. Survivors are two daughters, Irene Moore of Hazel Green, and Melrose Walsh of Malone; five sons, Cecil P. Gullett, Wilgus Davis Gullett both of Campton, Sam Henry Gullett of Malone, Herman U. Gullett of Helechawa and Ray D. Gullett of Lexington; four sisters, Nette H. Nickell, Minnie H. Stricklin and Georgia H. Hawley all of Venice, Florida and Anne H. Helnrich of Phonex, Arizona; 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Funeral services 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28 at the Potter Funeral Home Chapel, West Liberty with Rev. David Prater, officiating.
