RITES HELD FOR MRS. GARRISON
 
Amelia Price Garrison, 90 widow of the late John C. Garrison, of Route
1, Irvine, Ky., and formerly of Wolfe County, died at 7:00 p.m. Sunday,
Oct. 5, at the Irvine Health Center at Irvine.  She was a native of
Wolfe County, and a member of the Nazarene Church.  She was the 
daughter of the late Dr. Wiley and Sarah Lacy Steel.
 
She is survived by two sons, Glenn, and Earl Garrison, both of Irvine,
and one daughter, Mrs. Edith Williams, Harrison, Ohio, and a number of
nieces and nephews.
 
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7 at the Campton Methodist
Church with Rev. Abney of Irvine officiating.  Burial was in the Steel
Cemetery on the Sandy Ridge Road.  Funeral arrangements were under the
direction of Lewis Funeral Home, in Irvine, and arrangements and
services in Campton were under the direction of Porter and Son Funeral
Home.
