STAMPER OF ZACHARIAH DIES IN MT. STERLING Mrs. Lou Emma Stamper, 83, of Zachariah died Monday, Aug. 4, at a Mt. Sterling hospital following a long illness. She was a native of Wolfe County, a member of the First Church of God, and was the wife of Carl Stamper. Mrs. Stamper is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Edith Adams, and Mrs. Marie Adams, of Leeco and Mrs. Maxine Hatton of Winchester; a son, Albert Stamper of Booneville; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Sweeney of Campton and Mrs. Mary Landrum of Beattyville; six grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Wed. Aug. 6 at 2 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. James Clark and Rev. David Robinson.
