WOLFE NATIVE DIES AT JACKSON
 
Mrs. Nancy Childers Myers, 87, of Campton died Thursday, Jan. 9 at the
Nim Henson Nursing Home at Jackson after a two-year illness.
 
Mrs. Myers was a native of Wolfe County, a member of the Methodist
Church and served as postmaster at Pine Ridge for several years.
 
Survivors are three sons; Garrett Childers of Zachariah, Ted Childers of
Dayton, Ohio and Calvin Childers of Dayton; two step-daughters, Mrs.
James Swope of Campton and Sarah Grey of Jacksonville, Fla.; two
sisters, Mrs. Bertha Williams of Michigan and Mrs. Elizabeth Evans of
Campton; three brothers, Nick Coons of Campton, Shelly Coons of 
Phoenix, Ariz., and John Coons, of Bedford, KY., four grandsons, six great
grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
 
Funeral services were conducted Sat. Jan. 11 at the Shackelford Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Ramah Johnson officiating.  Burial was in the
Evans Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
